Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

The short version. Install Profits collects the details you send us (your name, business name, WhatsApp number and message) so we can reply and provide our services. Our website also uses the Meta Pixel and cookies to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram ads. We share data only with the service providers that make this work — chiefly Meta, Google and Zapier — and we never sell your information. You can ask us to see or delete your data at any time.

This Privacy Policy explains how Install Profits (“Install Profits”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit installprofits.com (the “Site”), submit an enquiry, or contact us through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, phone or email. It also explains how we use the Meta Pixel and Meta advertising tools, in line with Meta’s Business Tools Terms and advertising policies.

By using our Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your details.

1. Who we are

Install Profits is a one-person digital marketing studio based in Thimphu, Bhutan, operated by Nischal Chhetri. We help Bhutanese businesses run Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising, produce video creative, build websites, and set up marketing automation.

For any question about this policy or your information, we are the party responsible for your data (the “data controller”). Our contact details are in section 15.

2. Information we collect

a. Information you give us

When you fill in our enquiry form or contact us directly, we collect the details you provide, which may include:

  • Your name and your business name;
  • Your WhatsApp number, phone number or email address;
  • The service you are interested in and any message or details you share with us about your business.

Please only share the information needed for your enquiry. Do not send us sensitive personal information (for example, government ID numbers, financial account details or health information) through the form or chat.

b. Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the links and buttons you interact with (such as clicking a WhatsApp button), the website or ad that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel (see sections 5 and 6).

c. Information from Meta lead ads

If you respond to one of our advertisements on Facebook or Instagram using a Meta “instant form” (lead ad), Meta collects the information you submit in that form and shares it with us so that we can follow up. That information is handled under this policy once we receive it, and under Meta’s own terms while it is with Meta.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and communicate with you, usually over WhatsApp;
  • Provide, plan and deliver the services you ask about;
  • Route new enquiries to us reliably and follow up so leads are not missed;
  • Measure, understand and improve the performance of our website and our Meta advertising;
  • Keep records of our work and correspondence, and meet legal or regulatory obligations;
  • Protect the Site and our business against fraud, abuse and security risks.

We do not use your enquiry details to send unrelated marketing, and we do not sell your information.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for example, when you submit the form or accept cookies where a consent tool is shown); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running and measuring our advertising, and securing our Site; and, where relevant, the steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 10).

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, mainly to run the Meta Pixel and understand how our advertising performs. Our fonts are served from our own server, so no third-party font network receives your data.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can block advertising cookies using the tools listed in section 6. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

6. Meta Pixel and Meta advertising

Our Site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”). The Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies to record certain actions you take on the Site — such as viewing a page, submitting the enquiry form, or clicking a WhatsApp button — and shares this information with Meta.

We use this information to measure how many people respond to our ads, to optimise and target our Facebook and Instagram campaigns, and to build audiences (including “Custom Audiences” and “Lookalike Audiences”) so our ads reach relevant people. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy, and may combine it with information it already holds about you.

To learn more or to control how Meta uses your information for advertising, see:

  • Meta Privacy Policy — facebook.com/privacy/policy
  • Meta Cookie Policy — facebook.com/policies/cookies
  • Your Meta ad preferences — facebook.com/adpreferences

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.

7. WhatsApp and messaging

Our primary way of talking with you is WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta. When you message us on WhatsApp, your messages and number are handled by us to respond to you, and by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy. If we set up an automated WhatsApp chatbot to answer first questions, your messages to it are used only to respond to and route your enquiry.

8. How we share your information

We share information only where needed to run our business, and only with providers that are bound to protect it. We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — for advertising, measurement and messaging, as described above;
  • Google LLC — where we store enquiry records (for example, in Google Sheets) and use Google’s workspace tools;
  • Zapier, Inc. — which automatically routes new enquiries from the form into our records and notifies us;
  • Our hosting provider — which stores the Site and its server logs;
  • Professional advisers or authorities — where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.

These providers may process data on servers located outside Bhutan (see section 12).

9. Data retention

We keep your enquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and provide our services, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records — generally up to 24 months after our last contact — unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer. Advertising and analytics data collected through the Meta Pixel is retained by Meta according to its own retention periods.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • Delete your information, or ask us to stop contacting you;
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave.

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 15. We will respond within a reasonable time. You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time by telling us, and you can control ad tracking using the tools in section 6.

11. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting who can access it and using reputable providers that maintain their own security safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International data transfers

Because we use providers such as Meta, Google and Zapier, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Bhutan, including the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where we use these providers, we rely on the protections and terms they offer.

13. Children’s privacy

Our Site and services are intended for businesses and for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site. Please review this page periodically.
